Presentation of a national pars in Belarus

1 - NATIONAL PARK OF BELEVEJSKAIA POUTSCHA HISTORY: the forest of Belovejskaia Poutscha, classified in the world heritage of Unesco and biosphere reserve, has long been the hunting reserve of the sovereign : kings of Poland to 15th century, Grand Dukes of Lithuania as soon the 16th century, czars Federation starting in 1795. This special status of hunting reserve has certainly protected the forest land reclamation. It is the only remaining part of the huge primary forest which covered the northern plains of Europe
 
REGION : in the south west of the country, on the edge of the Polish border, in the region of Brest. Of the other side of the border we find the national park polish of Bialowecza
 
SITUATION : to 350 km of Minsk by the M1 motorway, 70 km north of Brest Litvosk. Duration of the transfer of the airport to ground job : 3h30 to 4 hours.
 
SURFACE AREA : forest massif of 300 000 ha, of which 60% intended for the hunting either 180 000 ha segmenting in 17 blocks, each held by a guard responsible assisted of several assistants.
